At Specialty Cards 4U, owner/designer Julie Strickland creates handmade greeting cards & pocket notes with a whimsical touch and meticulous attention to detail.

"When I was a kid, while my friends wanted to play 'house' with dolls and plastic kitchen food, I was happiest playing with paper. Playing 'post office' was my favorite. Sealing notes in pretty envelopes and packing up little boxes tied with ribbon to 'send' was my favorite way to spend an afternoon."

In 2005, after taking a card making class at a local scrap booking store, she was encouraged by family & friends to sell her handmade greeting cards to local retailers.

Little did she dream that a few years later, her handmade treasures would be sold in boutiques and fine stationery shops across the U.S.A. and in Canada.

"I love adding delicate visual and textural elements to our greeting cards and pocket notes. The extra special touches {ribbons :: gemstones :: charms} are what make our cards unique. They're a stylish treat to send to your mom, your sophisticated friends, and their fashionable kids."
